Job Summary
Network Engg/Lead, including designing and planning network systems, overseeing daily network operations for optimal performance, providing technical leadership, managing teams, ensuring network security compliance, monitoring performance, and maintaining documentation
Key Responsibilities
Network Architect Responsibilities:\\\\r\\\\n• As part of a dynamic team of network architects, you\\\\\\\'ll contribute to the smooth flow of information by designing and planning computer systems networks. \\\\r\\\\n• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the organization\\\\\\\'s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and reliability.\\\\r\\\\n• Provide technical leadership and guidance to network engineers.\\\\r\\\\n• Ensure that the network infrastructure complies with industry standards and best practices for security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and data encryption.\\\\r\\\\n• Monitor network performance and capacity, identify potential bottlenecks or issues and optimize performance and scalability.\\\\r\\\\n• Develop and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future upgrades.\\\\r\\\\nRequirements and Skills:\\\\r\\\\n• Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master\\\\\\\'s degree preferred.\\\\r\\\\n• Proven experience in network architecture, design, and implementation.\\\\r\\\\n• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP).\\\\r\\\\n• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and encryption technologies.\\\\r\\\\n• Two of the most desired skills here are organizational skills and analytical skills. \\\\r\\\\n• Excellence in communication and teamwork is a must. \\\\r\\\\n• A solid knowledge of the theoretical basics of computer science. \\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nTechnology Exposure:\\\\r\\\\n• ACI- Fabric\\\\r\\\\n• SD-WAN Fabric\\\\r\\\\n• Gigamon Fabric\\\\r\\\\n• F5 Load Balancer\\\\r\\\\n• Infoblox - DHCP,DNS,IPAM,NTP\\\\r\\\\n• Nexus VPC\\\\r\\\\n• Stacking \\\\r\\\\n• DMVPN\\\\r\\\\n• Cisco Routing & Switching \\\\r\\\\n• Cisco Wireless\\\\r\\\\n• Riverbed WAN optimization
