This role is accountable for managing complex network operations for large-scale LAN/WAN environments, driving continuous service improvement, and ensuring high standards in client service delivery. Domain Architect - Network LAN/WANJob SummaryThe Domain/Technical Architect plays a crucial role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering innovative solutions within the Data - LAN/WAN domain. This position emphasizes leadership in architectural design and team development, ensuring that product and sustenance delivery aligns with organizational standards and client needs. The architect will also be responsible for fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation to emerging technologies.Key Responsibilities1. Architect And Design Comprehensive Solutions For Product And Sustenance Delivery Through The Application Of Data - Lan/Wan Technologies, Ensuring Adherence To Industry Standards And Best Practices.
2. Provide Training And Mentorship To Team Members In Data - Lan/Wan Principles, Cultivating A Skilled Workforce And Mitigating Delivery Risks Through Effective Knowledge Transfer.
3. Gather And Analyze Client Specifications To Deliver Tailored Solutions, Leveraging Expertise In Data - Lan/Wan To Meet Domain-Specific Requirements And Enhance Client Satisfaction.
4. Drive Continuous Improvement By Exploring And Integrating New Technologies Within Data - Lan/Wan, Ensuring Solutions Remain Innovative, Up-To-Date, And Aligned With Quality Standards And Client Expectations.Skill Requirements1. In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Lan/Wan,  Architecture And Design Principles.
2. Proficiency In Developing And Implementing Data Lan/Wan Solutions.
3. Strong Understanding Of Current And Emerging Technologies In The Data Lan/Wan Domain.
4. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
5. Ability To Mentor And Develop Team Capabilities In Technical Areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee LAN/WAN network operations by leveraging advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and SolarWinds, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
2. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents using packet analyzers like Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime and service impact.
3. Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols utilizing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and network access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance.
4. Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in network operations through automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
5. Mentor and empower network support teams by sharing expert knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies, ensuring skill development, transparent communication, and alignment with project goals.
6. Engage with clients to understand evolving network requirements, translating business needs into actionable network solutions while ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs and service quality benchmarks.
7. Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, operational reports, and performance dashboards to support strategic decision-making and organizational planning.

Skill Requirements

1. Advanced Expertise In Cisco And Juniper Network Devices And Protocols (Ospf, Bgp, Mpls, Vlans).
2. Excellent Command Of Network Monitoring And Management Tools (Solarwinds, Wireshark, Snmp).
3. Advanced Knowledge Of Network Security Principles, Including Firewall Configuration And Vpn Technologies.
4. Strong Skills In Process Optimization, Automation (Python, Ansible), And Network Documentation.
5. Excellent Leadership And Mentoring Abilities, With A Focus On Team Empowerment And Operational Excellence.
6. Strong Analytical, ProblemSolving, And Client Engagement Skills.

Other Requirements

1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) certification required.
2. ITIL Foundation certification is optional but valuable
Maximum Salary (US):  139,000
Minimum Salary (US):  95,000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
