Job Summary

Design, deploy, and manage Azure network components including Virtual Networks, subnets, route tables, Network Security Groups, Azure DNS, Private DNS Zones, Private Endpoints, and service endpoints. • Implement and support hybrid connectivity using VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, and site-to-site connectivity between Azure and on-premises environments. • Configure and manage Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, Web Application Firewall, Front Door, Traffic Manager, and related application delivery services. • Implement network security controls including firewall rules, NSG policies, Azure Firewall, DDoS protection, segmentation, and secure traffic routing. • Monitor Azure network performance, availability, latency, and throughput using Azure Monitor, Network Watcher, Log Analytics, and diagnostic tools. • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across cloud, hybrid, and multi-tier application environments. • Support cloud migration projects by assessing existing network architecture and designing secure Azure connectivity models. • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, IP address plans, routing designs, and operational runbooks. • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and DevOps teams to ensure network designs meet business, compliance, and security requirements. • Support automation and infrastructure-as-code initiatives using tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and CI/CD pipelines. • Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes for Azure network services. • Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards, security baselines, naming conventions, tagging standards, and operational governance policies.

Key Responsibilities

Skill Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Azure networking services including VNet, subnetting, peering, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, Private Link, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, and DNS. • Good understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, switching, NAT, DNS, DHCP, BGP, IPsec, SSL/TLS, and network segmentation. • Experience with hybrid cloud connectivity and enterprise network integration. • Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools such as packet capture, connection monitor, flow logs, effective routes, and NSG diagnostics. • Knowledge of cloud security principles, zero trust networking, least privilege access, and secure connectivity patterns. • Experience with Azure Policy, RBAC, monitoring, alerting, logging, and compliance controls. • Working knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, or Bicep. • Understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, problem, and request management.
