Job Summary

This role provides expert leadership in managing and optimizing converged infrastructure environments, focusing on Nutanix and VMware vSphere & vCenter platforms. The individual oversees complex operations, drives service excellence, and ensures alignment with client objectives by leveraging advanced technical and people management skills. They foster innovation, empower teams, and deliver operational improvements that directly support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead operations management of Nutanix AHV and VMware vSphere & vCenter environments, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and adherence to client SLAs.
2. Oversee deployment and lifecycle management of Nutanix Cloud Infrastructure using Prism, integrating automation to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
3. Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex incidents across Nutanix and VMware platforms, driving continuous service improvement.
4. Mentor and empower support teams in implementing best practices for converged infrastructure, fostering knowledge sharing and technical growth.
5. Design and implement operational enhancements using scripting (PowerCLI, Python, or Nutanix APIs) to optimize resource utilization and automate routine maintenance.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather client requirements, translating them into actionable technical solutions within Nutanix and VMware environments.
7. Champion innovation by evaluating emerging tools and methodologies for cloud infrastructure management, proposing enhancements for efficiency and resilience.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Skills In Infrastructure Automation And Orchestration Using Prism, Powercli, Python, Or Nutanix Apis.
2. Advanced Expertise In Troubleshooting, Incident Management, And Root Cause Analysis Within Converged Infrastructure Environments.
3. Strong Understanding Of Cloud Architecture, Virtualization, Storage, And Network Concepts Relevant To Nutanix And Vmware Ecosystems.
4. Excellent Leadership And Mentoring Abilities, With A Focus On Team Empowerment And Technical Excellence.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Implementing Monitoring, Reporting, And Capacity Planning Tools For LargeScale Infrastructures.

Other Requirements

1. Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP) � optional but valuable.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
