Track Manager - Oracle Exadata, Oracle DB

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing expert-level operational management and technical leadership for Oracle Exadata and Oracle Database Administration within converged infrastructure environments. The individual ensures operational excellence, drives continuous improvement, and empowers technical teams to deliver superior support and solutions for complex, large-scale projects. They champion innovation, problem-solving, and adherence to client SLAs, directly impacting business outcomes and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Oracle Exadata and Oracle Database Administration by implementing advanced operational strategies, optimizing system performance, and minimizing downtime through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
2. Direct and empower the support team in managing converged infrastructure, ensuring service delivery meets stringent client SLAs and operational KPIs.
3. Utilize Oracle Enterprise Manager and related tools to oversee database health, automate routine tasks, and streamline incident and change management processes.
4. Mentor and guide team members in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex database and infrastructure issues in Exadata environments.
5. Drive process improvements by evaluating emerging Oracle technologies and integrating innovative automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reporting.
6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate client requirements into robust operational solutions, ensuring transparent communication of project objectives and deliverables.
7. Champion business continuity by managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies leveraging Oracle RMAN and Data Guard.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Oracle Database Administration, Including Rac, Asm, And Backup/Recovery Best Practices.
2. Advanced Skills In Managing Converged Infrastructure Platforms Supporting LargeScale Oracle Deployments.
3. Expert Use Of Oracle Enterprise Manager, Rman, Data Guard, And Related Monitoring And Automation Tools.
4. Excellent Analytical, ProblemSolving, And Mentoring Abilities For Managing HighComplexity Operational Challenges.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Scripting (Shell, Python, Or Perl) For Automation And Process Optimization.

Other Requirements

1. Oracle Certified Master (OCM) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) � Oracle Database Administration (optional but highly valuable).
2. Oracle Exadata Certified Implementation Specialist (optional but valuable)

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
