Job Summary

An Agile Scrum Program Manager is responsible for governing and delivering multiple Agile/Scrum projects (or teams) under a single program, ensuring alignment with business objectives, value delivery, and enterprise governance.\r\nThis role operates above the Scrum Master level, focusing on cross-team coordination, dependency management, stakeholder alignment, and strategic execution, not day-to-day sprint facilitation.

Key Responsibilities

Program-Level Agile Governance\r\n\r\nOwn end-to-end delivery of multiple Agile projects within a program\r\nEstablish and enforce Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, LeSS, Kanban, Hybrid)\r\nDefine program OKRs, KPIs, and value metrics\r\nEnsure consistent Agile maturity across teams\r\n\r\n2. Multi-Team & Dependency Management\r\n\r\nManage cross-team dependencies, risks, and conflicts\r\nCoordinate Program Increment (PI) planning or large-scale sprint planning\r\nHandle shared services, platform teams, and integration milestones\r\n\r\n3. Stakeholder & Executive Management\r\n\r\nAct as single point of contact for business leadership\r\nTranslate business strategy into executable Agile roadmaps\r\nProvide predictable forecasting, progress visibility, and dashboards\r\nManage escalations and decision-making paths\r\n\r\n4. Financial & Capacity Management\r\n\r\nBudget ownership and cost optimization\r\nResource capacity planning across teams\r\nVendor and partner management (where applicable)\r\nAlign funding models with Agile delivery (CapEx/OpEx, value streams)\r\n\r\n5. Risk, Compliance & Quality\r\n\r\nIdentify and mitigate delivery and operational risks\r\nEnsure compliance with enterprise governance, audit, and security\r\nDrive quality metrics: defect leakage, velocity stability, predictability\r\n\r\n6. Agile Transformation & Coaching\r\n\r\nCoach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Delivery Leads\r\nDrive Agile transformation initiatives\r\nStandardize tools, ceremonies, and reporting\r\nPromote a culture of continuous improvement
