Job Summary

This role ensures the seamless operation and optimization of enterprise Linux environments, leveraging advanced expertise in RedHat technologies to address complex challenges and drive continuous improvement. The position empowers teams through technical leadership, oversees adherence to client SLAs, and implements innovative solutions that enhance operational excellence and business outcomes.

 Good understanding of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, containers, and Ansible cloud management Experience with Kubernetes, containers, openvswitch, JBoss, Tomcat, Go, Angular.js (web frameworks), Python (web frameworks), .NET and RESTful APIs. Good understanding of Linux tools, with an emphasis on curl, strace, wireshark and using git Installation and Configurations of RHEL Linux OS Managing RHEL Linux cluster (HA), Managing Redhat Satellite server RHEL server upgrade— LCM Create, Delete and modify user and groups Creating Local volume and PV, VG, LV Network Config, Access providing Providing incident report details information, providing good customer service. Network config in new server, add in domain, patching, Health checkup of windows server. Experienced in Command centre Monitoring, Network Config on Linux OS access management, local group policy management, OS security hardening, OS performance issues troubleshooting, folder level permission management. Performance issues like- High CPU, High Memory, OS hungs, OS repair, unexpected OS reboots. Daily operations, P1 & P2 incident, major change activity, Root cause analysis, change management Patch and Package administration Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task Configuring and supporting domain on HP Superdome Servers Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performance Understanding of SAN and NAS storage. Installation, configuration and Administration of Backup environment Administration of NIS or LDAP environment Configuring Linux Security baseline Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue Security Administration – Add/remove/Troubleshoot Security Policies. Tools Administration – Agent Installation. Device Management – Installing & Configuring devices. Syslog & Log management. Documentation – Systems/tool/Service management documents update. Process related activities, Scripts Maintenance. Kubernetes component--- Service,NodPod, Ingress, Secrets,Nmaespaces,Helm Can write small scripts in YAMAL

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead RedHat Linux and RedHat Satellite operations by architecting, optimizing, and automating system administration processes to ensure maximum uptime and performance in large-scale environments.
2. Oversee RedHat Cluster management by implementing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
3. Drive root cause analysis and advanced troubleshooting for critical incidents using RedHat Linux tools, proactively identifying and resolving complex infrastructure issues.
4. Mentor and guide operations teams by providing expert knowledge in RedHat Satellite patch management, configuration automation, and compliance enforcement.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate client requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business SLAs and operational goals.
6. Implement continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging RedHat technologies and integrating best practices for operational efficiency and security.
7. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for RedHat Linux and Satellite environments, supporting audit and compliance activities.
8. Champion innovation by introducing process enhancements and automation opportunities leveraging RedHat and open-source toolsets.

1. Excellent Skills In Redhat Satellite For LargeScale Patch Management, Provisioning, And Configuration Automation.
2. Advanced Experience With Redhat Cluster Deployment, Failover Configuration, And Troubleshooting.
3. Strong Knowledge Of ItilBased Operations Management And Incident/Problem Management Best Practices.
4. Excellent ProblemSolving And Analytical Skills For Resolving Complex Technical Issues In Enterprise Environments.
5. Solid Understanding Of Automation Tools Such As Ansible In Redhat Ecosystems.
