Job Summary

This role is accountable for the operational management and continuous improvement of complex transmission and telecom switching environments. The individual drives service excellence by optimizing systems and processes, solving high-impact technical problems, and ensuring seamless delivery of client SLAs. They empower teams through expert leadership, foster innovation in operational strategies, and maintain high standards of technical performance in large-scale telecom operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee telecom switching and transmission operations by implementing advanced monitoring tools and process automation to enhance network performance and reliability.
2. Lead operational support teams in resolving escalated transmission and switching incidents using expert troubleshooting techniques and root cause analysis methods.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in transmission network management by introducing innovative solutions and optimizing operational workflows.
4. Ensure compliance with client SLAs by utilizing performance analytics platforms to track, report, and address service delivery metrics in real time.
5. Mentor and develop team members in advanced telecom switching and transmission practices, fostering a culture of technical excellence and proactive problem-solving.
6. Collaborate with internal technical teams to design and deploy upgrades or migrations in transmission infrastructure, ensuring minimal impact to service continuity.
7. Provide expert guidance in the evaluation and integration of new transmission technologies, tools, and methodologies to support organizational growth and transformation.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Proficiency In Using Network Management Tools (E.G., Netcool, Solarwinds, Ciena, Nokia, Huawei Transmission Platforms).
2. Advanced Understanding Of Incident, Problem, And Change Management Processes In Telecom Operations.
3. Strong Leadership Abilities In Mentoring, Coaching, And Empowering HighPerforming Technical Teams.
4. Excellent Analytical Skills For Root Cause Analysis And Performance Optimization In LargeScale Telecom Networks.
5. Advanced Proficiency In Developing And Implementing Process Improvements For Operational Efficiency In Transmission Domains.

Other Requirements

1. Certifications such as MEFCECP, Nokia Network Routing Specialist II, Huawei HCIPTransmission, or Cisco CCNP Service Provider are optional but valuable
