Job Summary

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and proactive Backup Architect with hands-on experience in Veritas NetBackup to manage and support enterprise backup and recovery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure data protection across physical, virtual, and cloud environments, while maintaining compliance and optimizing backup performance. Job Responsibilities : Administer and maintain enterprise backup solutions using Commvault and NetBackup.\\r\\nConfigure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup jobs, schedules, and policies.\\r\\nPerform regular backup validation, restore testing, and disaster recovery drills.\\r\\nCollaborate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure backup coverage and SLAs.\\r\\nManage backup storage capacity, retention policies, and tape library operations.\\r\\nImplement and maintain backup reporting and alerting mechanisms.\\r\\nEnsure compliance with data protection policies and regulatory requirements.\\r\\nProvide L3 + support for backup-related incidents and service requests.\\r\\nDocument backup architecture, procedures, and recovery plans. Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
