Job Summary

This role is accountable for overseeing large-scale Azure IaaS operations and infrastructure automation, ensuring robust service delivery, continuous process optimization, and effective team leadership. The individual drives operational excellence, champions innovative solutions, and maintains alignment with client objectives to support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Azure infrastructure management by architecting, deploying, and optimizing complex IaaS solutions using Microsoft Azure Resource Manager and Terraform, ensuring high availability and security.
2. Oversee automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform scripts, driving efficiency and minimizing manual intervention.
3. Monitor, analyze, and enhance operational processes through advanced Azure monitoring tools and dashboards, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
4. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to operations teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of incidents within Azure and Windows environments.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving client requirements and implement robust solutions using Azure services and Terraform that align with business objectives and compliance mandates.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and integrating new Azure features, automation tools, and industry best practices into operational workflows.
7. Ensure operational documentation and runbooks are maintained and updated for all Azure and Terraform-managed environments.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Knowledge Of Infrastructure Automation Using Terraform For Azure Environments.
2. Advanced Skills In Windows Server Administration And Troubleshooting Within Cloud Contexts.
3. Expert Understanding Of Azure Monitoring, Cost Management, And Governance Tools.
4. Excellent Ability To Lead, Mentor, And Develop HighPerforming Technical Teams In Cloud Operations.
5. Strong Experience In Designing And Implementing Operational Automation, Incident Management, And Process Optimization.
6. Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills.

1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (recommended)

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
