Job Summary

Job Summary : Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong experience with Azure Stack HCI and/or Azure Hub deployment and operations. • Hands-on expertise with Windows Server, Hyper-V, Failover Clustering. • Experience with Azure Arc and hybrid cloud management. • Solid understanding of enterprise hardware (Dell, HPE) and storage systems. • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (VLANs, subnets, PXE boot, IPMI/iDRAC/iLO). • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across hardware and software layers. • Experience with patch management and compliance processes. • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. • Working knowledge of AI-assisted tools (e.g., Copilot CLI) for scripting, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Azure infrastructure management by architecting, deploying, and optimizing complex IaaS solutions using Microsoft Azure Resource Manager and Terraform, ensuring high availability and security.
2. Oversee automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform scripts, driving efficiency and minimizing manual intervention.
3. Monitor, analyze, and enhance operational processes through advanced Azure monitoring tools and dashboards, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
4. Provide expert guidance and mentorship to operations teams in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of incidents within Azure and Windows environments.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving client requirements and implement robust solutions using Azure services and Terraform that align with business objectives and compliance mandates.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating and integrating new Azure features, automation tools, and industry best practices into operational workflows.
7. Ensure operational documentation and runbooks are maintained and updated for all Azure and Terraform-managed environments.

Job Responsibilities : Key Responsibilities Environment Deployment & Management • Deploy and configure Azure Stack HCI and Azure Hub environments in lab settings. • Build, expand, and maintain lab clusters, including compute, storage, and networking components. • Apply new builds, hotfixes, and feature releases to HCI and Hub environments. • Validate and certify environments after updates to ensure stability and compliance. Monitoring & Health Management • Continuously monitor all lab environments for system health, performance, and availability. • Identify and troubleshoot unhealthy nodes, clusters, or services. • Drive incident resolution, including root cause analysis and permanent fixes. • Maintain alerting and reporting mechanisms for proactive issue detection. Troubleshooting & Repair • Diagnose and resolve hardware (servers, disks, networking) and software issues. • Coordinate and drive hardware repairs or replacements (e.g., disk failures, node issues). • Perform failover, recovery, and cluster remediation activities as needed. • Partner with vendors (Dell/HPE) and internal teams to resolve critical issues. Infrastructure Maintenance • Maintain and upgrade lab infrastructure, including firmware, BIOS, drivers, and OS updates. • Ensure lab environments are aligned with latest supported configurations and best practices. • Manage networking configurations (VLANs, IPMI, PXE, etc.) supporting lab environments. • Maintain capacity, inventory, and lifecycle management of lab hardware. Azure Arc & Patch Compliance • Manage and maintain all Azure Arc-connected machines within the lab. • Apply monthly security patches and updates across all systems. • Ensure compliance with patching policies and security baselines. • Troubleshoot and resolve patching or compliance failures. Automation, AI & Process Optimization • Leverage AI tools such as Copilot CLI to streamline day-to-day lab operations and improve efficiency. • Use Copilot CLI to assist with scripting, troubleshooting, log analysis, and operational workflows. • Develop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell preferred) for deployment, monitoring, and patching. • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through AI-assisted automation and intelligent workflows. • Continuously improve operational processes using data insights and AI-driven recommendations. • Document SOPs, runbooks, and standard procedures enhanced with AI-assisted insights.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
