Job Summary

L3 is the senior Technical Member of the Team. He takes care of creating Documentation in terms of SOP, Process Flow & Root Cause Analysis. He performs troubleshooting which requires extensive knowledge in solving the issues. Sometimes the issues reported by customers cannot be solved by L1 & L2.

In that case, the L3 team analyses the issue and fixes it. L3 co-ordinates with the Vendor for bugs fixes in the codes and recommends upgrades of software and hardware. L3 drives the P1/P2 bridge calls to drive the issue to resolution. L3 also ensures the SLA of the ticket is monitored and production is back as soon as possible. L3 Identifies gaps and challenges in the infrastructure environments and provides recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Certified in Networking CCNA, CCNP, CCIE w/lab (A MUST), Cisco ,Brocade, Aruba, Netscaler • Primary skills in Networking, Routing & Switching. • Secondary skills in Load balancer(Netscaler) and Wireless (Aruba) • Expertise in Nexus 7k, 9k, Cisco 6500's, Cisco ASR/ISR routers, Cisco WAAS and Cisco ACS • Good Knowledge in products like Catalyst switches, Cisco (Routers/Switches), Brocade Switches and Aruba (Wireless controllers / AP) • Expertise in Aruba Wireless Infrastructure. • Expertise in Arista/HP/Extreme Network Switches • Hands on Riverbed, Netscaler load balancer. • Network monitoring/diagnostic application i.e. Solarwinds , Netflow, etc. or equivalent ,interpretation of packet captures. • Expertise in ticketing tools like ServiceNOW. • Expertise in network documentation tools such as Visio.. • Strong knowledge of Convergence Technologies including QOS on LAN and WAN • Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EGIRP, HSRP, STP and VRRP protocols (A MUST) • Architecture/, design and implementation responsibility for Data Center and LAN/WAN for large corporate environment, based on architectural standards. • Expertise in Network Service such as DC, DNS/DHCP, VPN/Client Connectivity. • Expert in various Cisco network devices and services (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, DMvpn • Network Architecture performance tuning. • Installation, configuration and very strong troubleshooting experience in Cisco devices other OEM’s. • Experience in WAN, Wireless & Site Networks maintenance Datacenter support • Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations • Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability • Monitor system resource utilization, trending and capacity planning • Provide Level-L4/L3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues with in SLA. • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Proficiency With Cisco Sdwan Technologies And Management Platforms
2. Advanced Skills In Network Monitoring, Performance Tuning, And Incident Management Using Cisco Tools (Prime, Dna Center, Meraki Dashboard)
3. Strong Understanding Of Network Security, Routing Protocols (Ospf, Eigrp, Bgp), And Wireless Standards
4. Excellent Leadership In Mentoring Teams And Driving Network Operations Strategy
5. Expert Ability To Analyze Complex Network Environments And Implement Innovative Solutions
6. Advanced Proficiency In Documenting Network Infrastructure And Operational Processes

Other Requirements

1. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or CCNP Wireless � Required
2. Cisco Certified Specialist � Enterprise SDWAN Implementation � Optional but valuable
3. Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Enterprise Infrastructure � Optional but valuabl
