Network Analyst - WAN / LAN
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables (Network Focus)
• Understand network-related architectural requirements for the INS program and propose suitable network designs and changes as needed.
• Support site evaluations for INS readiness from a network perspective,including: Preparing and refining questionnaires Evaluation forms Site survey templates
• Implement or support the implementation of network segmentation at INS sites, including: Alignment of VLANs and routing with INS zones Preparation for firewall insertion and traffic redirection Support, Prepare and enhance Zone planning and architecture
• Perform and support network-related Traffic Analysis (TA) to identify required flows and optimize segmentation.
• Troubleshoot network issues that arise during INS changes and ensure minimal business impact.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Firewall Specialist to ensure that network and firewall designs are fully aligned and support INS objectives.
Required Technical Skills (Network)
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
• Strong practical experience in: Routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP
Switching concepts: VLANs, STP, trunking, port channels
Network Address Translation (NAT): static, dynamic, PAT
Access Control Lists (ACLs) and packet flow analysis
WLAN and basic SD-WAN concepts
• Preferably certified: CCNA, CCNP or CCIE.
Key Responsibilities
2. Oversee network operations by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance with Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and SDWAN management platforms, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Architect and implement advanced network changes and upgrades using Cisco IOS, Catalyst, and Meraki solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements.
4. Mentor and guide the support team in troubleshooting, escalation management, and adoption of best practices for Cisco networking technologies and SDWAN.
5. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable network operations strategies using Cisco and SDWAN toolsets.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging Cisco networking and SDWAN technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security.
7. Ensure robust documentation, knowledge transfer, and transparent communication of network operations policies and procedures across teams.
