Job Summary
Networks Data – L3 • Manage and support all Network Data (Silver Peak SD-WAN, MPLS, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP etc.) and Network security technologies, including Firewalls (Palo Alto, Prisma, Global Protect, Fortinet firewalls), 802.1.x, Network Authentication Systems, and VPN technologies. • Strong understanding of Enterprise Network design, including Data Center, Campus, Public Cloud, and Global WAN connectivity. • Resolve complex customer issues with Aviatrix products, prioritizing strategic deployment, integration, and optimization. • Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols. • Manage and Troubleshoot switch network configured with MST, RPVST, Ether-channel, Dot1Q Trunking, Pruning etc. • Handle and Troubleshoot DC setup with VPN (DMVPN, L2L and AnyConnect) tunnels configured on Cisco Routers and ASA boxes • Handle and troubleshoot Cisco NEXUS switches (5000, 7000, 6000, 9000 series) configured with VDC, VPC, FEX, OTV • In-depth knowledge of and experience with Cisco 29xx, 36xx, 37xx, 38xx, 43xx, 65xx, ASR 1000 & 4000 ISR Gen series platforms • Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills. • Experience deploying and maintaining wide area networks with emphasis on IPsec, VPN and MPLS transport and commonly used access technologies such as DS1/T1, E1, DS3, OC3, OC12 and Metro Ethernet. • Deep understanding of TCP internals, especially across wide area networks. • 5 or more years’ experience in a similar environment. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. • Candidates should also have had significant experience with and expertise in many of the following protocols and technologies: 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, Net flow, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, Multicast. • Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution for customer’s Network. • CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE or equivalent Added advantages. • Experience on SolarWinds • Handle and troubleshoot load balancing solutions F5 Load Balancer • Hands on experience over Cisco ACS or ISE • Hands on experience over Palo Alto Prisma, Global Protect, Zscaler etc.
