Track Manager - Wireless Networking

Job Summary

This role is responsible for expert-level operations management of complex, large-scale network environments, with a primary focus on Cisco-based LAN/WAN, Wireless WLAN, and SDWAN solutions. The individual ensures service excellence by driving continuous process improvements, resolving high-impact technical issues, and empowering teams through effective leadership. They champion innovation, align operational practices with client expectations, and deliver strategic network solutions that support organizational growth and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead incident and problem resolution for complex network issues using Cisco LAN/WAN, Wireless WLAN, and SDWAN technologies, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs.
2. Oversee network operations by monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing network performance with Cisco Prime, DNA Center, and SDWAN management platforms, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Architect and implement advanced network changes and upgrades using Cisco IOS, Catalyst, and Meraki solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational and client requirements.
4. Mentor and guide the support team in troubleshooting, escalation management, and adoption of best practices for Cisco networking technologies and SDWAN.
5. Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into actionable network operations strategies using Cisco and SDWAN toolsets.
6. Drive process innovation by evaluating emerging Cisco networking and SDWAN technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and security.
7. Ensure robust documentation, knowledge transfer, and transparent communication of network operations policies and procedures across teams.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Proficiency With Cisco Sdwan Technologies And Management Platforms
2. Advanced Skills In Network Monitoring, Performance Tuning, And Incident Management Using Cisco Tools (Prime, Dna Center, Meraki Dashboard)
3. Strong Understanding Of Network Security, Routing Protocols (Ospf, Eigrp, Bgp), And Wireless Standards
4. Excellent Leadership In Mentoring Teams And Driving Network Operations Strategy
5. Expert Ability To Analyze Complex Network Environments And Implement Innovative Solutions
6. Advanced Proficiency In Documenting Network Infrastructure And Operational Processes

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
