Track Manager - XenDesktop

Job Summary

This role oversees operations management for large-scale workplace virtualization environments using XenDesktop, driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring service delivery excellence, and empowering teams through effective leadership. The individual is accountable for aligning technical operations with client objectives, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage XenDesktop environments by optimizing operational processes, utilizing Citrix Studio and Director to enhance system performance and streamline incident resolution.
2. Lead workplace virtualization support teams in troubleshooting and resolving advanced issues with Citrix XenDesktop, ensuring seamless virtual desktop delivery and high client satisfaction.
3. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing operational data from Citrix tools and implementing automation using PowerShell to reduce manual effort and error rates.
4. Mentor and guide support personnel in applying best practices for XenDesktop configuration, image management, and application publishing within enterprise-scale deployments.
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving client requirements and proactively adjust XenDesktop policies and configurations to align with business needs.
6. Introduce and evaluate new technologies and features within the Citrix ecosystem to improve service efficiency, security, and scalability.
7. Oversee compliance with organizational policies and client SLAs, providing regular management reporting and actionable insights using Citrix analytics platforms.

Skill Requirements

1. Excellent Proficiency In Workplace Virtualization Concepts, Including Desktop Provisioning, User Profile Management, And Application Delivery.
2. Advanced Skills In Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, And Group Policy Management As Applied To Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
3. Solid Experience With Automation And Scripting Tools (Powershell) For Operational Efficiency In Xendesktop Environments.
4. Strong Analytical And ProblemSolving Abilities With Advanced Troubleshooting Of Complex Virtualization Issues.
5. Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills For Managing Teams And Driving Operational Initiatives.

Other Requirements

1. Citrix Certified Expert � Virtualization (CCEV) certification is highly recommended.
2. ITIL Foundation certification is optional but valuable
