Job Summary

The Design Lead will be responsible for overseeing the UI/UX designs within the organization. They will lead a team of designers to create innovative and user-friendly designs that meet the business objectives and enhance user experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage a team of ui/ux designers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and create design solutions that align with business goals.
3. Develop design concepts, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and enhance designs.
5. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the design process and deliverables.
6. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers to foster their growth and development.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient in ui/ux design tools such as adobe xd, sketch, figma, or similar tools.
2. Strong understanding of user centered design principles and best practices.
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively lead a design team.
4. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into design solutions.
5. Experience in conducting user research, creating personas, and usability testing.
6. Knowledge of html, css, and javascript is a plus.
7. Attention to detail and a creative mindset to deliver visually appealing and functional designs.

Other Requirements

1.UX Design Certification or similar certification is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
