TEX : 10 Years
A senior, hands-on Experience Design Lead who can operate independently across both UX design and UX research workstreams. The resource must be comfortable leading design end-to-end — from discovery through delivery — while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
CORE DESIGN CAPABILITIES (REQUIRED)
- End-to-end product design across web and mobile — user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mocks, interactive prototypes, and design specs
- Figma expertise required; ability to work within and contribute to an established component-based design system (Angular Material / Topaz)
- Accessibility compliance (WCAG) and responsive design embedded throughout all work
- Design QA and implementation support working directly with engineering squads
- Workshop facilitation — journey mapping, persona definition, cross-team alignment sessions
- AI-assisted design workflows and familiarity with conversational or data-driven interface patterns
UX RESEARCH CAPABILITIES (REQUIRED)
- Discovery research — generative studies, contextual inquiry, stakeholder interviews, and competitive analysis to frame problem spaces
- Research analysis & synthesis — translating findings into actionable insights, personas, journey maps, and design hypotheses
- Usability testing — planning, recruiting, facilitating, and reporting on moderated and unmoderated usability studies
- Ongoing UXR operations — maintaining a research cadence alongside active design delivery, integrating findings into sprint cycles

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking
- Proven UXR practice — not just research familiarity but hands-on ability to run the full research lifecycle
- Experience in enterprise, education, or SaaS environments; familiarity with Agile/Jira workflows
- Strong stakeholder communication — able to present and defend design decisions confidently at senior levels
- Desirable: background in edtech, front-end concepts (Angular/React/HTML/CSS), or designing for multi-persona global platforms
