UI/UX Senior Designer

Job Summary

The Senior Designer will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing designs for user interfaces and user experiences. They will play a key role in enhancing user satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and interaction between the user and the product.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop ui mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look
2. Design graphic user interface elements like menus, tabs, and widgets
3. Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback and usability testing
4. Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables)
5. Identify and troubleshoot ux problems (e.g., responsiveness)
6. Collaborate within team to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience
7. Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in design tools such as adobe creative suite, sketch, and invision
2. In-depth understanding of ui/ux best practices
3. Strong portfolio demonstrating previous ui/ux design projects
4. Knowledge of html/css; javascript is a plus
5. Strong communication and teamwork skills
6. Ability to problem solve and think creatively

Other Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
