Job Summary
Workday Technical - Studio:
• Extensively worked on Workday Studio, Advanced Reports, Calculated fields, Matrix and Composite reports, Security, PICOF and PECI.
• Designed and built EIB (Inbound, Outbound) integrations in various segments of the Workday system and worked with Core Connector, Workday Studio, Report Designer, XML, XSLT, SOAP, and REST web services.
• Designing, executing, and evaluating technical solutions provided to the client, including identifying issues and offering well-reasoned recommendations.
• Expert knowledge of IT architecture principles and collaborates with the architecture team in the design of systems and application programs.
• Establishes and communicates technical goals and direction for team.
• Leads execution for a complex technical project.
• Must have led and managed at least 3 to 5 mid- to large-sized custom implementation projects.
• Develops prototypes and evaluates alternate technical alternatives.
• Defining file formats, fixed-width specifications, mandatory data fields, business rules, notifications, output delivery mechanisms, and document retention policies, and incorporating these into development activities.
• Presenting final integration design models to business stakeholders.
• Responsible for the overall monitoring and coordination of all the coding activities on the project with offshore and nearshore team members
• Responsible for review of offshore and nearshore team members design, code etc
• Structures the source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
• Possesses deep understanding of SDLC and application architecture concepts technical work for a medium to high complexity project.
• Developing and supporting integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connector, Document Transformation, and Workday Studio.
• Creating custom reports with calculated fields for EIB development, constructing XSLT transformations, and configuring SFTP-based delivery.
• Configuring and managing core connector integrations, including attributes, mappings, eligibility rules, transaction logs, delivery services, filename sequences, document retention, and change-detection logic.
• Conducting unit tests to verify integration logic, ensure performance stability, and confirm accurate output delivery.
• Managing secure data transmission from Workday to downstream systems by defining appropriate API security controls.
• Analyzing failed integrations by reviewing report logs and identifying data or coding issues.
• Ensuring adherence to production release timelines and timely delivery of integration milestones
